VELOCITY THROWING PROGRAM

Velocity – Offseason Program
The Offseason Velocity Program consists of developmental phases similar in timing and intensity as that of professional baseball players in their off-seasons.  Generally from November through the mid to late December, and will provide the foundation to velocity improvements.

Velocity – Preseason Program
The Preseason Velocity Program begins in January and will serve as the transition from the foundational strength phase in the Fall to using that strength to develop full body power movements that will create increased velocity.

KEVIN LONG HOLIDAY HITTING CAMP

Register Now for the Kevin Long Holiday Hitting Camp at Pro X. The camp will take place indoors at Pro X on Monday, December 21st and Tuesday, December 22nd.

Kevin is known to be an expert in statistical analytics and being able to translate that to a hitter in everyday normal terms. Kevin is one of the best psychological teachers for hitters. He has an amazing ability to help get a hitter out of his own head. He loves hitters that put in the work and love to compete.

Kevin has had great success as the MLB hitting coach for the New York Yankees (World Series Champion 2009), New York Mets (World Series Runner-Up 2015), and most recently the Washington Nationals (World Series Champion 2019).

• • Available to 3rd – 6th grade athletes and 7th-12th grade athletes.
  • Athletes can expect to learn how to obtain and maintain their balance in their stance; staying connected through their hips, hands, and knees; and understanding contact points for inside pitches, outside pitches and pitches down the middle of the plate.
