Ty Neal comes to Pro X with a well-established, 19-year college coaching career. No stranger to Indiana, Ty spent 8 years as the Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Indiana University and a trip to the 2013 CWS in his final season. In his IU tenure he developed the All-Time Win’s Leader, 2 separate Single Season Saves Leaders and All-Time Saves Leader. He mentored 2 MLB First Round Draft Picks, 2 Big Ten Pitcher of the Year and produced 2 Nationally Ranked Recruiting Classes. Neal took his first head coaching position at the University of Cincinnati in 2014, and in 4 seasons improved the team’s RPI 147 spots making it a Top 100 program, while his athletes maintained a 3.0 GPA each semester of his coaching career. He has Recruited or Developed 10 MLB Players. Ty was a LHP at Miami University where he earned 19 career wins. With Ty Neal’s remarkable Pitching Coach career, Pro X is proud to name him as our Director of Pitching.
